Your Analysis:

•  How are the materials arranged? Are they classified according to their functions and characteristics? Relate your Observations here.

-Yes, they are classified and arranged according to their functions and characteristics. Like for example, the library resources, the books there are grouped according to their section. Reserved book section, reference section, periodical section and general circulation section are some classifications found inside the library.

•  Are guidelines in place to facilitate access of the teachers to these resources?

-Yes, it is. Like for example, the reserved book section, all the books placed in this shelve is intended to be read inside the library and are not allowed to be brought out. Books in this section are recommended by teachers to help students with their assignments. Only teachers have access on this.

• What are the strengths of the resource center?

-The strengths of these resource centers is to give information to all students and to help them get equipped of all the knowledge. They help the students not to be ignorant, dumb and stupid.

• What are their weaknesses?

- the weaknesses of these resources are the carelessness of the students when they are using it. Some students don’t know how to handle them with care and some are not giving importance or they don’t value it anyway.

• What do you suggest to improve the resources?

- For me, to improve these resources is to properly use it, give importance with it and make them as your best friend, because the way you treat them may be how they will treat you back. Treat them as if they were humans too.

Your Reflections 

• Which of the materials have caught your attention most? Why? 

- The materials or let’s say facilities that caught my attention most are the Science Laboratory facilities. They caught me because I have never been using some such highly made technology before, just here in MUST, I can say that this school, MUST, is really a University of Science and Technology.

• Which gadget/ equipment are you confident to use/operate? 

- The equipment I am confident to use are their computers in the computer laboratory or what we call this here E-Library. Since I already have experienced using it; downloading, uploading, surfing, and other online stuff, I am confident enough to use it.

•  Which equipment do you feel you need to learn more about? 

     

        - The equipment that I feel I need to learn about is the new facilities inside the Science Laboratory. I still need to learn them, I still need to be expert on them since I will be a Science Teacher soon.

•  In what way do you think will you learn to operate such equipment?

- Maybe for me, to be able to learn them is to explore it more, be attentive when we’re having our experiments and most of all, use it properly.
